I see your point, now that I think about I had a terrible time with slow bookmark loading in Classic SI when I was using dialup. The feature you want won't help for an important thread that is low in the alphabet.

The solution I developed was to keep a short SI bookmark list, mainly of market-oriented threads. For individual stock news and chat I set up a bunch of Yahoo! portfolios on different subjects. Hey, if a couple million other people have been doing the same thing, maybe that's why individual stock threads have been dying on SI. Well, duh!

Now that I have a cable modem I still like too keep a relatively short SI bookmark list. However, it would nice to have multiple SI bookmark lists. Too bad GNET didn't figure this out a year ago and address this functional issue instead of doing a cosmetic makeover.
