thanks for spelling the deal out. i am long avnx. you won't find anyone on these threads - or anywhere else - who is more straight out what he says he is. i ask questions for the same reason i watch for rocks when i sail. doesn't mean i'm trying to sink the boat. the fact that these insiders want to to be able to cash out so quickly - not just to profit, but if Gilder is right, to get out altogether - drives me to keep asking questions. one would think they don't need that capability if they have confidence in the long term value of the technology. if it's as good as they say they should be glad to commit to keeping some of their stock: a) because it's good for them; b) because these questions wouldn't come up.
but am i reading Gilder right? he says "cash out". that means to me the ability to sell all. i heard something about 25%,but don't know whether that means they can only sell 25% of their holdings, or 25% of all outstanding stock.
