Yes, the mindset (short, intermediate, or long term) has much to do with sell point. But in this volatile market, you won't to get out when a trusted indicator says overbought. a CCI(13) works well on a 5 min or a weekly. Te 200 measure is based on using the standard (as it is often called) CCI, there are at least 2 versions out there.

Everyone has to prove to themselves what indicator is best. It is helpful to have software that does not restrict you by its lack of tools.
