in 87 the NYSEBP hit 8%....last year in Oct 99, it hit 32%..we are there right now...

this index has traveled to the high teens too...

but so much has changed since 87...we went almost immediately into a prolonged recession right thru 92...rates exploded to 20-22%...

i do not see this happening at all...

however if AG continues to raise rates, we will selloff harder...i do not think he'll raise more than one more time in Mar..this *IS* an election year, and historically this does not happen...

the markets actually do not look bad to me..just discounting the next rate hikes...and moving back to normal levels..

alltho the NAZ is amazing...probably overdue for a hit...

what i will watch for here, is a reversal in the NYSEBP UP...that will signal the end of this selloff...
