I spoke with Barb Henderson (PFG IR) on Friday and obtained the following information:

Luicho Road construction:
On schedule although it is currently raining in Peru.

Metallurgical testing:
Leach testing of the bulk tunnel core samples obtained for metallurgical testing will take at least 60 days. Samples are being be tested at different crush sizes. Results will therefore not be available until shortly before RC drilling commences.

Luicho sampling:
Climbers are on site taking vertical samples from the east wall. Unlike previous sampling which was an attempt to verify depth, their objective is to attempt show if there is continuity in the sampling results. They will be sampling the wall for 30-50 meters.

The same climbing group will then move outside of the structural corridor to a 200-300 meter cliff on the east side in an attempt to extend the target vertically. Barb reminded me that this sampling will take place outside of the corridor, therefore if results are poor they may not necessarily be indicative of mineralization within the corridor.

Sampling will of course continue in the other areas within the corridor.

Detailed Mapping: David Ernst is close to wrapping this up. It will provide a detailed understanding of the geology to date in one map that will also be useful for the analysts tour. Structure appears to be the key to this anomaly. The 250 meter wide corridor with its cross faults has made this low sulphidation prospect behave as if it were high sulphidation. Due to its width and brecciation, the fluids had more of a chance to flow through the rock therefore mineralization appears to be quite disseminated.

The Drill Plan
The first phase of the drill program will look like "fences of drill holes" in an E to W direction. Each fence may be made up of 4-5 holes and there will be 7 or more fences, 2-300 meters apart along the 2 km corridor that follow the Luicho fault. Additional drilling will also take place at the anomaly they found outside of the corridor to the North and at other blind targets. Drilling will begin in the high grade central zone and then branch out.

Barb mentioned approximately 40 holes in total, therefore my assumption is 250-300m holes.

We had a brief discussion regarding how quickly the size of a deposit could be determined. She mentioned this depended on the type of deposit but as example, she indicated Barrick was able to ballpark the Pierina resource very accurately after only 9 holes drilled.

Financing: They are still contemplating but nothing as yet.

Meeting with Barrick:
While in Toronto CMS and Shrake met with Alex Davidson from Barrick.. He provided no further details other than "we are reviewing our options". With the data received to date (and Barrick has never provided the last DD twin results) PFG management are still of the opinion further mineralization must be found to make this a viable deposit. Luckily there are 7-8 known zones at Diablillos that have had little or no drilling and could add to the resource. If the property is returned PFG after reviewing Barrick's detailed data PFG may do a joint venture. There are a number of Argentinian companies that have expressed an interest and PFG would ensure a better deal than the last (70%-30%).

Hope this helps,
