Agreement Represents Largest Multi-Location Agreement to Date

MINNEAPOLIS, Feb. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Access Anywhere, LLC., a provider of
public Internet terminals, today announced that it will install Advants Public
Internet Access terminals in Twin Cities-area Tom Thumb Food Markets beginning
in March. The installation of the terminals is the result of what is believed
to be the largest single multi-location Internet terminal agreement in the
nation to date.
Advants, Inc., a division of Choicetel Communications Inc. (Nasdaq: PHON),
is building a nationwide network of terminals and plans to install more than
30,000 public access Internet terminals over the next three years in a variety
of public locations that people utilize when they are not at home or at their
office, including grocery stores, hotels, restaurants and shopping malls.
"This agreement represents a milestone in the deployment of Internet
terminals throughout the Twin Cities," said Mike Reier, vice president of
Access Anywhere. "It is our vision to have Advants public Internet terminals
conveniently deployed throughout the local market. The partnership with
Advants and Tom Thumb will quickly increase our presence."
Advants' terminals are equipped with a computer, monitor and keyboard, and
also include a dollar bill acceptor and credit card swipe, allowing users to
initiate e-commerce transactions with either cash or credit.
"We feel that this is a great opportunity to provide our customers with
the additional convenience of high-speed Internet access for over 15 hours per
day in Tom Thumb's metro area locations," said Derrell Deming, Tom Thumb's
director of store operations. Tom Thumb currently has 113 locations in
Minnesota and Wisconsin.
Twin Cities-based Advants, Inc. is a majority-owned subsidiary of
Choicetel Communications, Inc., which owns and operates approximately
2,000 pay telephones. Advants is installing public Internet terminals
nationally.
Privately held Access Anywhere, LLC., is based in Plymouth, Minn. and
provides public Internet terminals throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin.
