Hihopes: No holder of COMS will receive PALM shares until distribution day, which is presently set for around August, with 12/1/00 the latest date. If you own COMS at the close the day before D-day, you'll get around 1.5 PALM for each COMS share you own. Doesn't matter whether you buy COMS today, tomorrow, next week or sometime in July, as long as it's before D-Day. COMS is unlikely to get any cheaper between now and 3/2, but it may be cheaper at some time between now and D-Day. David T.
