Ross Systems Announces Five New Agreements
ATLANTA, Feb. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Ross Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: ROSS) a leading supplier of Enterprise Systems, announced today two new agreements in the process manufacturing market. Phanstiehl Laboratories licensed Ross' iRenaissance(R) Enterprise Resource Planning and Supply Chain Management System. Phanstiehl Laboratories is located in Waukegan, Illinois. The company produces a line of high purity carbohydrates, rare sugars, miscellaneous bio-chemicals and active pharmaceutical ingredients for use as bulk intermediates and bulk active drug substances by the pharmaceutical, food, cosmetic, dietary supplement and related industries.
In addition, the Kerry Food Group expanded its agreement for iRenaissance to include its 35th plant. The agreement provides for expanded usage in Kerry's German operations. The Kerry Group, ranked in Industry Week's 100 best-managed companies with revenues of $2.9 billion, has iRenaissance implemented in 34 sites in nine countries.
In the healthcare sector, Ross announced three new agreements. East Herts NHS Trust in the UK licensed Ross' iRenaissance Accounting Suite. Ross has more than 100 healthcare institutions as customers in the UK. Greenwood Leflore Medical Center, located in Greenwood, Mississippi, expanded its agreement for iRenaissance. In Cairo, the Egypt Electricity Authority Hospital licensed Ross' iRenaissance Financial and Materials Management Systems. The hospital has 250 beds and serves the medical needs of the employees and families of the Egypt Electricity Authority.
