Elon people problem: kona, thanks for the info. Lonmark Assoc. in-fighting is to be expected, this is a big change, but I don't like the customer service attitude one bit if this is prevalent. As for the price of the chips, given the testimonials I've read the overall cost savings seem to be quite real so I don't imagine these to be a major factor. Would you (or anyone) mind answering a somewhat technical question, - I'm no expert and would like clarification on something. Is it correct to say that two (or more) BacNet systems may not be interoperable with each other, that Bacnet is largely a Paper Std, which OEM's can design for (and satisfy the Std) and yet still retain a closed proprietary architecture. Your clarification would be most appreciated. TIA.
