Are you really fond of leading questions like this? Initial reports were for a late March release of 866 MHz. Pulling in that release to today would not make sense given the continued shortage of 800 MHz parts, even though that shortage is going away "Real Soon Now."

Just because Intel cut prices this week doesn't mean that they're obligated to intro a new speed grade.

I think you better wake up to the reality that Intel's shortage of Coppermines won't last, and in fact, that shortage will turn into a surplus quicker than you might think, even in Internet time. We've already seen signs of Intel's 0.18u production picking up speed, and yet you continue to side with the AMD clowns and ridicule Intel's short-term supply shortages.

Now who's head is buried where the sun don't shine?
