I love their alliance w/ Shout Interactive. Shout appears to be poised to become the standard X3D parser/renderer. If so, they could very well end up THE parser used in Browsers. I see Shout in the same position as was Datachannel whose XML parser was chosen by Microsoft to serve as the IE XML parser. Microsoft and RealAudio have both attempted streaming 3D with less than stellar success... IMO, Shout's in an excellent position right now. PCTR adds real-time interactivity to the picture... and they're a Shout partner and have developed a couple of implementations in conjunction with Shout... one which just happened to be an X3D-IC3D Demo included on the VRML2000 X3D SDK CD (more acronyms, more acronyms...). voluntary disclosure: mighty long! jn
