Everybody I ask about laptops seems to have a different opinion as to what's important (power, weight, screen size, battery life, operating system, etc. etc.), and since these things are always a matter of tradeoffs, this is driving me crazy. especially since I too have been a Mac person til now, and this is also my first laptop.
What is driving me almost as crazy is the performance of ELON. Now I know we don't--can't--move stocks just by talking about them, and the legendary "G&K Effect" is a mirage. Still, one has to wonder sometimes... I decided after reading all the endless bullish talk on ELON to take a small starter position this morning, just to join the rest of the gang. So I set out to acquire some eulhn's, that is, Aug 70 ELON calls--the highest up, furthest out options I could find, to give me a little bit of leverage.
Well, by the time I got around to checking the market about 45 minutes after the open, ELON was up 18, and the eulhn's were about 28. Sighing, I picked up a few while kicking myself for missing out on the run. After talking to a friend who has been in for a while and is quite bullish, I reluctantly decided to double my position. When I just went to do so, the damn eulhn's had climbed to 43! I couldn't decide whether to laugh at my good luck, or cry at my misfortune.... Swallowed hard and doubled up anyway, and resolved that I would simply NOT LOOK BACK, NEVER NEVER NEVER!
