Dear Loki: Well, if you want my Paranoid conclusion, it is this: AG is basically a Republican, even though appointed by Clinton. The devilish thought occurred to me he raises two more 1/4 points by June, he knows nothing terrible will happen cause its already priced in the market, THEN in a surprise move he begins dropping interest rates about September 1/4 point at a time. That would drive the economy, the financials and indeed the market in general bananas. Everyone gets rich and then which party would benefit in the election from it? Hard to tell for me.
I think he is pricing the $$ so strong that sooner or later the imbalance of payments problem will really get out of hand. JDN
