Gus - are you related to Barnum too?

If you are going to indulge in such brazen selective editing of my post - it makes discussion pointless.
Is that your aim - to squash a dissenting view?

The first section of your post - supposedly reflecting what I said (Gus points in bold)....
------------
What's factually wrong with the first statement which render the resulting conclusion and subsequent questions useless?

IDC has received $70million from NOK, for R&D. It's not clear whether a recurring payments will accrue.
Will they collect against NOK?
How will that affect their current relationship with NOK.

From the 10K:

In 1999, InterDigital entered into royalty bearing TDMA and CDMA patent licenses with Nokia, which are paid up generally through the project period, and provide a structure for determining royalty payments thereafter.

-----------------
What I actually posted ...
b) WCDMA (a next generation digital standard)
IDC has received $70million from NOK, for R&D. It's not clear whether a recurring payments will accrue

You will note I was referring to WCDMA, not TDMA, not CDMA!!!

At the end of the post I actually wrote

Some things I would like to see discussed on this thread...
- The upcoming ERICY litigation
- If IDC win, how will they collect against ERICY?
- Will they collect against NOK?
- How will that affect their current relationship with NOK. - How will they collect from the other GSM/TDMA players.
- Will their ability to collect be compromised by their failure to participate in the GSM IPR pooling effort?

Why are these questions useless?
Are to to believe that you think it is useless to debate the ERICY litigation, or what will happen if IDC win?

Some additional questions...

- What portion of the $70million is for TDMA/CDMA licenses and what portion is for WCDMA work.

- Since NOK is already a QCOM licensee, why pay an additional fee to IDC?
