Polvo Dudette,

Why must it be dude if gender don't mean anything...

<Me thinks clappy may have won a few points with the lovely ladies of the Porch after that comeback...>

<However the the other lovely ladies like Polvie, Jim Willie, TechGuerilla, V, Coonaz, etc. have begun distancing themselves from me...>

Don't worry guys, I'll be making a few obnoxious southern and northern chick jokes later to redeem mice elf...

Getting back to your ELON question.
No I haven't bought any yet. %&@#$!!

I had been watching closely when they were dropping below 38. They had just rose back up. I had written a note to myself saying "Buy ELON at 38 1/2". (I still have the note next to my PC.) However, to my dismay, Mr. Voltaire ended buying a couple billion shares of the stuff and sent it up ~10 points. Then to make things worse, after I reset my limit buy for $48 the next morning, I find out Mr. Voltaire told the entire world he had bought ELON which shot them up another additional 20 points or more.

Anyhow, I've been keeping up almost...

When I knocked out of the ELON I had bought SCON at 46. Afterhours today they hit $102.

SCON makes superconducter RF filters that are being put inside the wireless towers. They increase the range by several miles and make it possible for appox. 50 times the amount of data to be sent. The G3 phones will make this superconductor system a necessity.

SCON is a small company still. The market cap may still be under a billion...
I think their management looks better than their competition's.

<Polvo walks over to clappy and puts a gag on his mouth. He warns the Porchers not to ask him about any of his stocks... He tend to get a little longwinded...>

<Clappy continues speaking through the handercheif tied around his mouth... He tries to begin telling everyone about FRAM technology...>

:^)

<in best muffled gagged voice>
