SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 28, 2000-- Redback Networks, Inc., (Nasdaq: RBAK), today announced that it captured the top position in broadband subscriber management systems -- as measured in units shipped for all of 1999 -- in Synergy Research Group's most recent Broadband Access & Infrastructure Equipment market share study. The report, issued on Feb. 23, 2000, established that Redback Networks' unit shipments accounted for 71 percent of worldwide subscriber management equipment sales in 1999.
