Thanks so much for the comments. It sure is nice to know that someone else has an interest.

I've been a Bio-Rad owner off and on (mostly on) for about 5 years. I find the PSD activity very positive as I have implied for the last 10 posts or so.

When I made the most recent Bio-Rad investment last fall, I looked at Conmed and Boston Scientific as well but did not invest there. Everyone has their own objectives, risk tolerances etc. If you could put me in a category, it would probably be "value" as I focus on low-PE-ratio shares and do well when PE ratios increase with growing earnings.

I have also owned Genzyme shares (and still do) which have more than doubled in the last 2-3 years. Most aggressive investors would not consider Genzyme a good investment, but it has been good for me.

Biology is changing and Bio-Rad is finally taking action to change along with it. Much information is coming out of the Human Genome project and there will be much more opportunity in the future.

Notice Bio-Rad's increased press activity since the PSD acquisition. No analysts cover the company, but I suspect some will and when that occurs, values may increase some.

Regards,

Dave Chanoux
