Nah, that doesn't sound stupid to me. I did it too.;-) I think that everyone does it when they first get into the pennies. Not a whole lot of info out there as far as brokers go and everyone wants to look at us as the black sheep of the trading community.;-))))) What really pisses them off is when we prove the big blue chipper trading houses that you can beat them at their game.;-))))
When I first started trading pennies with the house I'm in, they tossed me around like a stuff doll. Kept giving my account off to the new junior that came into the company. Always loosing money at best or not trading at worst. My account was just an annoyance. Brokers didn't take me serious. Always put me on hold. My account was always in the rears.
This year my account is in the 5 digits approaching 6 rapidly. Hopefully 7 in short order. Now all of a sudden, no one wants to pass my account on.;-))))) Now I'm still stupid because I trade pennies but when I talk, they listen, so what does that tell you.;-)))))
Now as far as being level headed, depends on what I am drinking. It could be hope, expectations, excitement or a penny that I find on the ground for good luck.;-))))
So never, and I say never, think of yourself as stupid or the questions that you ask. Look at is as a Q.& A. session. When your right, your the greatest thing since sliced bread. When your wrong, you a shorter, scamer, P&Der or a company rep. at worst.
So I try to keep everything in perspective and be honest. I am a SPECULATOR first, a TRADER second, an INVESTOR third. I am only loyal to one person. Myself. I do have partners and that is my pockets. I want to fill them and that is the bottom line of my loyalty.;-))))))
Hope I haven't shattered your illusion of who I am or what I am. Just another schmuck trying to make a buck.
