Well well Mr. Make desisions without asking the right questions. Let me guess, you are taking a beating in the stocks because of the same problem, you likely use SI for your DD.
First of all, this was in the 58-62 era which was much different than today. I'll bet telling you about the time my dad and I snuck up on some feeding mallards and got 20 with seven shells. Actually we got 19 with six and I got one more who came up after I had rechambered. Those were the good old days.
Used to love pheasant hunting when pheasants behaved like they should. I quit when they disappeared from Southern Alberta because of the foxes, those are the animals with bushy tails, not cute females, just so you can get some facts correct. Now they come up like prarie chicken because they have been raised in pens. No thank you, lilke shooting fish in a barrel. Which I have never done, it is just an old time expression. I would not want to contribute to any additional misconception on your part.
Back to fishing, I had 12 scouts in that troop and each one of them learned about catch and release during that field trip. I know many of those boys and they still practice it. Yes we did live on fish, fried potatoes and pancakes for the week. That's what a fishing trip was all about.
I hope other of your decisions are made more carefully than this one was.
Oh by the way, anyone who thinks they can kick my butt better bring ten strong men and BIG bulldog!
Good fishing and hunting. |
