Nokia Receives ``Innovation of the Year' Award for the WAP Server from PC Professional Magazine
HELSINKI, Finland--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 28, 2000--The Nokia WAP Server has been selected as the 'Innovation of the Year 1999/2000' in the category 'Internet Applications' at CeBIT 2000 trade show by Germany-based PC Professional Magazine.
The Nokia WAP Server was acknowledged as an exceptional innovation in the field of information technology. The Nokia WAP Server was said to exemplify the results of extensive development work.
The jury consisted of specialist editors from renowned IT publications, PC Professionall Magazine, Internet Professional personnel and on-line magazine ZD Net.
