j,

Went back thru the numbers - pretty sure they paid cash for the minority interests of Kwanta.

Dilution - these are unaudited and I think they may have omitted the option shares in the 2nd Q report, corrected it this Q.

I'm with you. I'm most interested in finding out about the "security and telecommunications products". Mainly what they are and how they will be marketed. To my knowledge, Deswell has no marketing experience to offer their own products. They almost have to be going through someone else.

I know this. The big telecoms do very little R&D on their own, preferring to purchase (and market) items that others design and build. Deswell may have a deal with one or many telecom companies to market their products. If they do, we will never know the name of the company or companies because the big telecoms don't want the consumer to know someone else makes their products. Well kept secret as suppliers are required to sign non-disclosure agreements as part of the contracts.

Brain fart - Majored in Industrial Management, not Industrial Engineering. Started in Engineering but 2nd year Physics shot me down.

Busy week, but will find time to call them.

Ron
