Shore Gold completes four Star kimberlite drill holes

Four drill holes have now been completed on the company's
100-per-cent-owned Star kimberlite with drilling under way on the fifth
hole. The third drill hole, Star 003, was collared approximately 200 metres
west of Star 002, intersecting 36.3 metres of kimberlite. The fourth drill
hole, Star 004, was collared 275 metres west and 200 metres north of Star
003 (425 metres west of Star 001) and intersected 116.2 metres of massive
kimberlite. The kimberlite contains large quantities of indicator minerals
over most of the interval with a significant number of large eclogitic
garnets present. This kimberlite intersection is the thickest encountered
on the property to date and could have a major positive impact on resource
calculations for the Star kimberlite.
The Star kimberlite is 60 kilometres east of Prince Albert, Sask. The
current drill program is designed to provide a better understanding of the
geometry, size and economic potential of the deposit.
Further updates and results will be reported on as the work program
progresses.
