If absurdity works, I'll use it.
The scale of the sale, $1.8 million, cannot be significant
in the scheme of things - its little more than a lifeline amount. When the scale rises, AMAT will
take over. I'm not trying to throw too much pessimism at you, just trying to keep it in perspective.
I wasn't clear that the alignment systems were a new item
to be produced by Jmar, rather than their own spare instrumentation - your quote leans towards the former,
if so it is probably from the disk head inspection division.
If the latter, then it may be obsoleted or spare tools from CATS. In any case there isn't a pending earnings bonanza looming but it is intriguing.
