Re: "EP, we don't question that Intel's fabs are "running at 100%" but what the hell are they making?!"

Last quarter they made 31 million processors so I would guess they also made about 60 million chipset components plus millions of SRAMs for the L2 of older PIIs and PIIIs and the SRAMS for Xeons. Add in about 30% of the world's supply of Flash, plus microcontrollers, network and communications components. They are still making 486s and even 386s in the form of the 386EX. Firmware Hub components by the millions. They act as a foundry for a number of outside companies as well. I'm just guessing here but I would say they ship over 150 Million devices per quarter or over 600 Million a year. I might be way low on my estimates. With the rate they are building and buying fabs it looks to me like they expect that number to grow dramatically.
