No, I stated the majority voted against them both times. People never really trusted them. For good reason, as we have seen Clinton rates worst of all Presidents when it comes to questions of character.

Let's not forget the obvious, that Clinton has had nothing to do with the continuation of the Reagan Boom other than watching it happen. Virtually all of the "Clinton policies" were defeated and that's fortunate for him because they were all economic negatives. So I can see why polls show Clinton/AlGore get little credit for the economy.

It's laughable when AlGore repeats his lie that they entered office with the worst economy in 50 years. Sure, the huge Bush-Dem tax increase and the Gulf War caused two quarters of "recession" but Clinton/AlGore entered office well after the present leg of the Reagan Boom took off - fully 13 months prior to their unfortunate start. But AlGore has learned from Clinton that it's more important to repeat their lies than to admit the truth, even when no one other than the suckers are buying.

AlGore an "eagle scout"? Forget about it, he's just as corrupt as his boss. Did you really believe AlGore's claims that he was so stupid that he didn't know that he was hosting an illegal fundraiser in a temple when he was shaking down impecunious nuns? His own notes show that he did. AlGore is known for having "no controlling legal authority". People want to be rid of Clinton/AlGore and any acceptable alternative, even McCain, will do for thinking Americans.

The question is, will thinking Americans allow the others to win another plurality election?
