There are many reasons insiders sell stock. If it were much heavier, and many were selling, it would be a big red flag. He may just need some cash for personal items or to buy a good position in stock options available a much lower prices. A single seller does not a trend make. Yet, you are correct in giving this dd and remaining alert to the possibilities. If 2-3 more filings suddenly appear, then it would be time to consider following their lead.
