I did not keep the article from IBD and perhaps Greenspan was wrongly quoted???? But I have heard this repeated by radio shows.
"We cannot allow the stock market to grow faster than the yearly income is growing."
That would be about 6% plus 1% for the "dividend" effect.
I do not know how AG would go about preventing us from bidding up stocks as we buy.
But did anyone else hear this quote? Am I incorrect/ if so I will be a happy camper as the concept alarmed me.
