Talk Visual Announces Breakthrough "Wireless Videocalling"
MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 29, 2000--(OTC-BB: TVCP). Global telecommunications service provider TALK VISUAL CORPORATION has made an industry breakthrough using Solectek's MP1100 Bridge/Router to send "television-quality" Video-over-IP, announced President and Chief Executive Officer Eugene A. Rosov. Mr. Rosov said today that the company has engaged Solectek Corporation of San Diego, California to equip and implement Talk Visual's "breakthrough wireless program" - the deployment of wireless video IP transmission over distances up to twenty-five miles.
Solectek and TalkVisual are working together to develop services that deliver high-speed wireless Video-over-IP solutions linking TalkVisual locations into a Virtual Private Internet Network. Moreover, Solectek and TalkVisual plan to take this relationship further in a joint effort to continue the development of Video-over-IP wireless WAN services.
Both companies feel that their combined expertise, products and service offerings are a perfect blend to further develop this much needed solution. Now they are able to make a visual connection to other retail centers via their Solectek wireless network. Solectek's MP1100 Wireless Bridge/Router links distances up to 25 miles apart and transmits data at rates ranging from 2 Mpbs to 11 Mbps.
