Hey Alex,

a little DC news:

Activision Brings Virtual On to the US

For Dreamcast owners who were curious whether or not the incredible home conversion of Virtual On: Oratorio Tangram would ever make it to the States, you can now rest easy. Gamespot News learned earlier this week that Activision would be publishing the game in the U.S. this spring.

What's currently unknown is whether or not Activision will find a way to bring over the specialized twin-sticks necessary to play the game. One cost-effective course of action would be to simply implement an edit-controller function, which would allow for customization of easier controls, rather than simply offering the pre-set options as in the Japanese version of the game.

While it's unknown whether the internet functions that allow Japanese gamers to play against each other online will make it to the U.S. version, this would most definitely make a killer-app for Sega's system.

Activision has yet to make an official announcement regarding the game, but for all intents and purposes, this is great news for the Dreamcast owner. More on this as we get it.
