I agree the potential to make out like a bandit resides with buying options as opposed to selling options. I've done a bit of both and I've found that I'm further ahead pocketing a limited upside repeatedly than watching a bonanza slip through my fingers. In my experience, the 'big wins' never seem to compensate for the 'many losses' over time.

People's trading abilities vary. Each must find a strategy that works, given their ability. Thank-you for pointing out the varying potential of differing strategies. Investors must assess potential and risk before acting.

P.S. As I type, Microsoft is available at $90 (or less) and for those with courage and patience, we now have the reasonable entry point I've been posting about since December.
