SEATTLE (February 24, 2000)-Nordstrom Inc., one of the nation?s leading fashion specialty retailers, today announced it will open a 32,000 square foot Nordstrom Rack store in Broomfield, Colorado at the Flatiron MarketplaceSM located at the southeast corner of U.S. Highway 36 and 96th Street. The new 70-acre mixed use complex will feature retail, restaurant, hotel and office components. ?Flatiron MarketplaceSM presents a tremendous opportunity for Nordstrom Rack to offer customers in both central and northern Colorado quality name brand merchandise at outstanding values,? said Sue Tabor, executive vice president and general manager of the Nordstrom Rack division. ?The new complex also has the distinction of being located in one of the country?s fastest growing high tech/biotech corridors.?
