TTOSBT: Re Rmbs: I am a late-comer to Rmbs.Bgt some this morning. Playstation 2 will be out on the market on Mar4 and uses Rmbs. Expect to sell 1mm units in first two days so would use a lot of chips. Then also, Dell contracted to take the full output of one Rmbs manufacturer last fall but the defective Intc product could not handle the rdrams. But now the problem has been fixed and Rmbs may have a bright future. Dell still has around 180MM shares left in their buyback program and has about 75 mm working 'in the mill' to buy back at specific prices. Overall it amounted to 1 bil shares of buyback considering splits. So I consider buy back capability is still huge and Dell probably working on it behind the scenes.
