NORDSTROM REACHES AGREEMENT WITH GAC TS DEVELOPMENT FOR NEW STORE IN ROCHESTER, MINN.
SEATTLE (February 23, 2000) - Nordstrom Inc. and GAC TS DEVELOPMENT have signed a letter of intent for Nordstrom to build a store of approximately 120,000 square feet at Time Square in Rochester, Minn.
The Seattle-based retailer says it plans to build a three level store that is tentatively scheduled to open in the spring of 2003. Other tenants in the project are yet to be named.
Nordstrom Inc. is one of the nation?s leading fashion specialty retailers, offering a large selection of quality fashion apparel, shoes and accessories for men, women and children. Merchandise ranges from classics to contemporary as well as exclusive couture designs. Currently, the company operates one other Nordstrom store and one Nordstrom Rack store at the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minn.
Nordstrom operates a total of 104 stores located in 23 states, including 71 full-line stores, 27 Nordstrom Racks, three Fa‡onnable boutiques, two free-standing shoe stores, and one clearance store.
