BTW, the message list formats correctly for me if I change my font size to "smaller". Each message fits on one line. However, the smallest font I can comfortably use on my current monitor is "medium", which is what causes all the bizarre text wrapping.

The message list should be tuned to handle a broader variety of equipment. Not everyone has a 21-inch monitor, and some people are using laptops.
