Sorry JDN, I didn't actually read that one. I just linked it. <g> In regard to the all-in-one/home entertainment center PC thing, I think that's a mistake. It's a mistake anyway to hook up your stereo to the same machine that your access to your broker (for instance) is attached to.

It's a simple matter for a plug-in or something to overwrite a Windows dll file and take out PPP (the web) altogether, to the point where you need to re-install.

As the web becomes more of an essential utility (to the point where you feel hackers should be dealt with harshly, for instance), the less the multi-purpose home PC matches up to the task. As a SUNW investor, your bet is on a different type of computing where each device has it's own discreet connection. The more things you bundle into one big hairball, the more things can screw up (exponentially). It doesn't really matter about the memory.
