I would guess they also made about 60 million chipset components plus millions of SRAMs for the L2 of older PIIs and PIIIs and the SRAMS for Xeons.

Intel makes millions of SRAMs for their L2s? What a terrific idea! If only AMD could do as much.

And foundry business is an exciting diversification, too. Intel designers can't be expected to saturate umpteen fabs and it's a great boon to the industry that Intel would make their surplus state-of-the-art capacity available to all comers.
