White Electronic Designs Receives Additional $1.2 Million Follow-on Order For DSP Multi-Chip SRAM Module
PHOENIX, Ariz.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 29, 2000--White Electronic Designs Corporation (AMEX: WHT) today announced that its Commercial Products Division has received a follow-on order for $1.2 million from a leading computer telephony company.
The order is for one of White's SRAM Multi-Chip Modules (MCM), designed to support Motorola's DSP 56000 family of Digital Signal Processors (DSPs). The MCMs will be used in an advanced Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN), capable of voice processing, speech recognition, and text-to-speech applications. White's MCM allows an increase in the number of channels available in the system.
