Elmer, <Intel's C/C++ Compiler is now available to the public.> Heh, it's about time. The SPEC benchmark results did mention that the compiler was slated for a February 2000 release. Guess the compiler guys at Intel decided to wait until the last day in February before releasing the thing. Perhaps AMD should update their web site to reflect the fact that they're now using outdated compilers in their Athlon vs. Pentium III benchmarks. Tenchusatsu
