stinks and I'd like to get to the source of it. That's my

It's one thing to have a strong opinion, but how about some facts to back up your accusations?
I know for a fact it was a DW broker who raised hell with Dow Jones a few months back. He threatened to get DW's analysts to retaliate if they didn't start acting professional. I also know DJ has been innundated with calls from investors, including myself, and they're not at all happy about it. So don't assume the ire was directed at Amati's management without something to back it up. I'd be far more willing to bet it's directed at the Internet and even this very board.
I have to accept my share of that, hard as it is to admit. I've never been anything but courteous, but just the same, I've bothered them and if you figure 3 or 4 or even more were calling, it all adds up. And if the DW broker is typical, not all the callers were soft-spoken. These editors get called a "screw up" one too many times and they're bound to react.
BTW, are you married? If you reasoning leaps from point A to Z in arguments with your wife, she has my sincerest sympathy.
I'm no electronic plumber but I've retired the trophy on spotting emotional detritus.
