OK OK OK!! On topic<g> JDSU doing great. I want it in the S and P 500 this week. There has only been one announcement of additions to the S and P 500 this YEAR. Last December and November, I used to see about one change PER WEEK.

Market cap approaching 100billion even without the ETEK acquisition means the S and P committee in charge of adding/deleting companies will be under more pressure. It certainly questions their judgement. NOte that they added AOL and Yahoo at lower market caps. I am sure of yahoo and am guessing that AOL was a lot lower when the announcement was made. Of course, AOL and YHOO ran up a lot going into the actual date of being added.

Before anyone asks me (and i am sure someone would have)--- I would like to point out that JDSU is an American company (Uniphase acquired JDS Fitel)and is therefore eligible for the S and P 500.
