Gary, don't assume that it will not continue, as long as the overall mania continues. The way I see it continuing is for PALM to successfully spin that it is in this wonderful transition from a mostly hardware manufacturer to a software license holder/wireless internet provider. But this transition will require some reasonable time during which PLAM will no longer be profitable (since it will let its licensees build and sell the hardware). Elements of this strategy already exist in the S-1 and have not caused much consternation <g>.
