-but i bet the index fund managers will be more pissed (S&P inclusion)
I outsmarted myself by guessing which stocks would be added to major indexes and buying for that purpose. The stocks got added all right, but what I found is that most index funds are parts of a "family" of funds. When my stocks got added the family just transfers shares from one fund to the index fund, no purchase on the open market. I think Yahoo was a special case where it was not widely held by the majority of funds. JDSU is too well known in the industry to get more then a temporary spike from inclusion.
