Microsoft is dead money until they settle this mess.

This stock should be trading at twice the current price, but why should Gates and Ballmer care? They are already so filthy rich that a few more billion just doesn't make any difference to them.

However, Microsoft is going to find it MUCH harder to attract new talent with a dead money stock, and Microsoft will be left with those just waiting for old stock options to vest.
