You need to know that you are not entirely alone, but I have no good answers to your questions. My suspicion though, is that the recent enthusiasm for biotechs may be running over into Anika. I've never done very good analysis of the company as it is my father's portfolio for which I am beginning to take responsibility, but I concluded on a quick look that it was a high risk investment which had been sold to him by a broker.
