"Ann Richards had a lot of support, but no money." What a bunch of hogwash. First of all, the small people give $$'s to the candidate of their chosing. I'm one of those little people. Geez, even the Democrats in Texas were not in love in Ann Richards. She had a terrible relationship with her Democrat Lt. Governor, Bob Bullock, and many other Democraps. Bob Bullock actually supported George Bush in his second bid for Governor against a Democrat. Sadly, he recently died of cancer.
