Ascending vs. Descending triangle

I looked at your chart and am still confused. The chart you directed me to has daily prices for the last 4 months. I see no evidence of an ascending triangle on the right edge of the chart. If anything, DDIM has been in a 'descending' triangle since April 1. It had a horizontal base of approximately 20 which has been tested several times since then. The base at 20 held on every occasion. If todays action holds up through end of day, and there is no good reason to suspect it won't; IMO we have an upside breakout from a descending triangle which carries little or no prognostic value for future price action. I'm looking at the last three weeks of daily prices, and I do not see where there is any evidence that prices are repeatedly 'ascending' to a top level and then retreating as would be required to meet the criteria for an 'ascending triangle'. I'm no self-proclaimed TA expert. I am trying to learn more and if I'm missing the boat here, I hope someone will step in and straighten me out. Joe, thanks for directing me to your chart.
