Full steam ahead! Hummingbird Commun Gets Virginia State Mgmt System Pact TORONTO -- Hummingbird Communications Ltd. (HUMC) said it has received a software and service contract from the Virginia State Corporation Commission for a new case and document management system. The value of the agreement wasn't disclosed. In a news release, the company said Hummingbird CompInfo will serve as prime contractor for the project, which will feature implementation of CompInfo's LawPack case management system together with the Hummingbird document management system. Hummingbird said the Commission has regulatory authority over many business and economic interests in Virginia.
