OT. With your interest in these venture capital internet zaibatsus it occurs to me that you might also have an interest in another one centered in Chicago. That's Divine Interventures (DVIN) which is about to issue an IPO the week of March 27th. They have been mentioned here before and they claim to have patented the term "Internet Zaibatsu" (which I doubt will stand up <G>). They already have a thread established on SI in advance of the IPO: Subject 32285 It occurs to me that you (and perhaps some others here) might be in a position to get in on the IPO. It is likely to be a hot issue when it does come out. The thread has a reference to a group of articles that was published in Monday's Chicago Sun Times. Anyway, they are focusing on the B2B area and particularly in Chicago. They appear to be politically well connected. I only mention them here because of some similarities to Softbank, but of course there is no company like Softbank <G>.
