Elmer, Re..<<<<<<<<< When Willamette was shown at 1.5 GHz AMD couldn't match it. They had shot their wad at 1.1 GHz and had nothing better to show. It was put up or shupup and they couldn't put up. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Elmer just because Intel had a three ring circus complete with dog and pony show hardly means AMD was shut up. The simple fact is AMD showed up at Cebit; not in a back hall or dark room as you seem to suggest, but right out in the open with a big booth; (and good food by the way.). It was Intel who had a small booth in a off the main path hall. (with crummy food.) Both processors showed off their stuff and athlon won the awards. How can you say with any sense of intelligence and sincerity that AMD was shut up when AMD won 8 awards; including best processor at the show?
