Oh please, I'm not "bitter" about anything--I would have been amazed if McCain won Virginia--he had all the local issues going against him, and he really blew it with this "Pat Robertson Republican" slogan. It only got out the far right vote in greater numbers. An old polling technique is to ask voters what animal the candidate reminds them of. It gets at their instinctive feel for the candidate. These are the animals people most commonly associate with the two: McCain: lion, gorilla, wolverine Bush: lion cub, colt. LOL!
